3. Cookies
In order to make your visit to our website more attractive and to enable the use of certain features, we use "cookies" on our pages. Cookies are small files that are transmitted from the Internet to your access device. This data is stored there and retained for later retrieval. We use these cookies to make it easier for you to navigate our website. Some of the cookies we use are deleted again at the end of the browsing session, i.e. after you close your browser ("session cookies"). Other cookies remain on your access device and allow us to recognise your browser on your next visit (so-called persistent cookies). There is no link to personal data and no conclusions can be drawn about a user's activities. You can influence the use of cookies and prevent the storage of cookies on your device by making the appropriate settings in your browser program. 4. MONITORING TOOLS

Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, MountainView, CA94043, USA. Google Analytics uses "cookies", which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address, which is anonymised by the _anonymizeIp() method so that it can no longer be traced back to a specific connection) is transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google's behalf. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google.

Google is certified under the Privacy Shield Agreement and thus offers a guarantee of compliance with European data protection legislation (https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI&status=Active).

You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser. Please note, however, that if you do so, you may not be able to use the full functionality of our website. You can object to the collection of data by Google Analytics with effect for the future by installing an opt-out add-on (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de) for your browser.

You can also prevent the collection by Google Analytics by setting an opt-out cookie by clicking on the following link. This will prevent the collection of your data on subsequent visits to this website: Disable Google Analytics

Google Web Fonts
This page uses so-called web fonts to display the font. They are provided by Google (http://www.google.com/webfonts/). We have stored these web fonts on our server. When you connect to our page, your browser loads the required web font from our server into your browser's cache. This is necessary so that your browser can also display a visually enhanced representation of our texts. If your browser does not support this function, a standard font from your computer is used for the display. There is no communication with the Google server.

Google AdWords and conversion measurement
We use Google's "AdWords" online marketing process to place ads on Google's ad network (e.g., in search results, in videos, on web pages, etc.). This allows us to better target ads for and within our online services, so that we only show users ads that potentially match their interests. For example, if a user sees advertisements for products in which they have expressed interest on other websites, this is called "remarketing". For these purposes, when you visit our website and other websites where Google's advertising network is active, Google embed a code from Google and (re)marketing tags (invisible graphics or codes, also called "web beacons") are embedded in the website. With their help, an individual cookie, i.e. a small file, is stored on the user's device (comparable technologies can also be used instead of cookies). This file records the websites visited by the user, the content of interest to the user and the offers clicked on, as well as technical information about the browser and operating system, referring websites, visiting times and other information about the use of the online offer.

We also receive an individual "conversion cookie". The information obtained from the cookie is used by Google to compile conversion statistics. However, we only know the total number of anonymous users who clicked on our ad and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. We do not receive any personally identifiable information about users.

User data is processed under a pseudonym within the Google advertising network. This means that Google does not store and process, for example,

Pardot
Our website uses Pardot Services, an analysis tool for recording and evaluating the use of a website by website visitors, by salesforce.com, Inc. The Landmark @ One Market Street, San Francisco, CA 94105, USA. Pardot Services sets a maximum of two cookies. The cookies set are a "Visitor Cookie" and a "Pardot App Session Cookie". The "Visitor Cookie" and the "Pardot App Session Cookie" each generate an identification number that is used to recognise the browser of the website visitor. The identification number is a generated numerical code that has no meaning outside the Pardot Services. The "Pardot App Session Cookie" is only set when a customer logs in as a user in the Pardot App. The Pardot cookies record your click path and use this to create an individual usage profile using a pseudonym. This allows us to analyse the use of our website and improve it on a regular basis. Insofar as Pardot processes personal data, the processing is carried out exclusively on our behalf and in accordance with our instructions. When using Pardot, a data transfer to the USA cannot be excluded. Salesforce.com inc. has had Binding Corporate Rules approved by the European Data Protection Board since 2015, which ensures a level of data protection that complies with the GDPR. For more information, please see Salesforce's privacy policy: https://www.salesforce.com/de/company/privacy/full_privacy.jsp

Google Maps
We use a plugin of the Google Maps internet service on our website. The operator of Google Maps is Google Inc, located in the United States, CA 94043, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View. When you use Google Maps on our website, information about your use of this website and your IP address is transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. We have no knowledge of the exact content of the transmitted data or of its use by Google. The company denies in this context the connection of the data with information from other Google services and the collection of personal data. However, Google may transfer the information to third parties. If you deactivate Javascript in your browser, you will prevent Google Maps from running. However, you will not be able to use a map displayed on our website. For more information on the privacy policy and terms of use of Google Maps, please visit https://www.google.com/intl/de_de/help/terms_maps.html.

You have the right:

- to request information about the personal data we process. In particular, you may request information on the purposes of the processing, the category of personal data, the categories of recipients to whom your data has been or will be disclosed, the intended storage period, the existence of a right of rectification, cancellation, restriction of processing or objection, the existence of a right of recourse, the origin of your data, if not collected by us, as well as the existence of automated decision-making, including profiling, and, if applicable, useful information on the details thereof;
- to demand immediate correction of incorrect or incomplete personal data stored by us;
- to demand the deletion of your personal data stored with us, unless contractual obligations, legal reasons or the exercise of legal rights prevent this;
- to require the restriction of the processing of your personal data if you contest the accuracy of the data, if the processing is unlawful but you refuse to have it deleted and we no longer need the data, but you need it to assert, exercise or defend legal claims or you have objected to the processing
- to revoke your consent at any time. As a result, we cannot continue to process data on the basis of this consent in the future.

6. DATA SECURITY
For data transmission with our website, we use the common SSL (Secure Socket Layer) procedure in connection with the highest level of encryption supported by your browser. We also use appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect your data against accidental or deliberate manipulation, partial or total loss, destruction or unauthorised access by third parties. Our security measures are constantly being improved in line with technological developments. However, we would like to point out that, despite the use of all technical and organisational possibilities, it is not possible to guarantee 100% data security when transmitting data over the Internet according to the current state of the art. In this context, please also note that data transmission by e-mail is always unencrypted (we recommend sending confidential information by post).

7. LINK
Our website contains links to third-party websites. We have no influence on the content of other websites or on their operators' compliance with data protection regulations. We do not assume any responsibility for the correctness, up-to-dateness or possible illegal content of these sites, nor for the compliance with data protection regulations by the operators of these sites.

8. THE USE OF SOCIAL PLUGINS
We use social plugins from the social networks Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube on our website to increase awareness of our Foundation. We integrate these plugins using the so-called two-click method in order to protect our website visitors as much as possible.

a) Facebook
On our website, social networking plugins from Facebook are used to make their use more personal. For this purpose, we use the "LIKE" or "SHARE" button. This is an offer from Facebook. When you connect to a page on our site that contains such a plugin, your browser establishes a direct connection with the Facebook servers. The content of the plugin is transmitted by Facebook directly to your browser and integrated into the website.

Through the integration of the plugin, Facebook receives the information that your browser has connected to the corresponding page on our site, even if you do not have a Facebook account or are not currently connected to Facebook. This information (including your IP address) is transmitted by your browser directly to a Facebook server in the United States and stored there.

If you are logged in to Facebook, Facebook can attribute your visit to our website directly to your Facebook account. If you interact with the plugins, for example by pressing the "LIKE" or "SHARE" button, the corresponding information is also transmitted directly to a Facebook server and stored there. This information is also published on Facebook and displayed to your friends on Facebook.

Facebook may use this information for advertising, market research and demand-driven design of Facebook pages. For this purpose, Facebook creates usage, interest, and relationship profiles, for example, to evaluate your use of our website in relation to advertisements displayed on Facebook, to inform other Facebook users of your activities on our website, and to provide other services related to Facebook usage.

If you do not want Facebook to attribute the data collected via our website to your Facebook account, you must log out of Facebook before visiting our website. For information on the purpose and scope of data collection and further processing and use by Facebook, as well as your rights in this regard and the options for setting up privacy protection, please see Facebook's data protection information (https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/).

b) Twitter
On our website you will find plugins of the short message network of Twitter Inc (Twitter) integrated. You can recognise the Twitter plugins (tweet button) by the Twitter logo on our website. You can find an overview of the tweet buttons here (https://about.twitter.com/resources/buttons). If you connect to a page on our site that contains such a plugin, a direct connection is established between your browser and the Twitter server. Twitter thus receives the information that you have connected to our site via your IP address. If you click on the Twitter "tweet button" while logged into your Twitter account, you can link the content of our pages to your Twitter profile. This allows Twitter to associate your visit to our pages with your user account. We would like to point out that we, as the provider of the pages, have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data or its use by Twitter.

If you do not want Twitter to be able to link your visit to our pages, please log out of your Twitter user account.

For more information, please see the Twitter privacy policy (https://twitter.com/privacy).

c) Instagram
Our site uses social plugins ("Plugins") from Instagram, which is operated by Instagram LLC, 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA ("Instagram"). Plugins are identified by an Instagram logo, for example in the form of an "Instagram Camera".

When you access a page on our site that contains such a Plugin, your browser establishes a direct connection with Instagram's servers. The content of the plugin is transmitted by Instagram directly to your browser and integrated into the page. This integration informs Instagram that your browser has called up the corresponding page on our website, even if you do not have an Instagram profile or are not currently logged into Instagram.

This information (including your IP address) is transmitted by your browser directly to an Instagram server in the USA and stored there. If you are logged in to Instagram, Instagram can immediately associate your visit to our website with your Instagram account. When you interact with the plug-ins, for example by clicking the "Instagram" button, this information is also transmitted directly to an Instagram server and stored there. The information is also published on your Instagram account and displayed to your contacts.

If you do not want Instagram to associate the information collected on our website directly with your Instagram account, you must log out of Instagram before visiting our website.

For more information, please see Instagram's privacy policy (https://help.instagram.com/155833707900388).

d) YouTube
Our website uses social plugins ("Plugins") from YouTube, which are provided by YouTube LLC, 901 Cherry Avenue, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA ("YouTube"). The Plugins are marked with a YouTube logo, for example in the form of a "YouTube camera".

If you connect to a page on our website that contains such a plugin, your browser will establish a direct connection with the YouTube servers. The content of the plugin is transmitted from YouTube directly to your browser and integrated into the page. Through this integration, YouTube receives the information that your browser has called up the corresponding page on our website, even if you do not have a YouTube profile or are not currently logged in to YouTube.

This information (including your IP address) is transmitted by your browser directly to a YouTube server in the United States and stored there. If you are logged into YouTube, YouTube is able to assign your visit to our website directly to your YouTube account. If you interact with the plugins, for example by clicking on the "YouTube" button, this information is also transmitted directly to a YouTube server and stored there. The information is also published on your YouTube account and displayed to your contacts.

If you do not want YouTube to associate information collected through our website directly with your YouTube account, you must log out of YouTube before visiting our website.

For more information, please see YouTube's privacy policy (https://www.youtube.de/t/privacy).
